Happy Dragon Children’s Learning Center has been providing early childhood education services in the community of Queens for over 12 years. Our yearly summer programs combining fun and learning start the day after public schools end and continue until public schools open (We are closed on Labor Day).
Happy Dragon Children's Learning Center offers a variety of summer programs with flexible scheduling suitable to parents' busy activities in a warm nurturing environment. The folloing activities are parts of the summer program curriculum:
Review and preview of school subject works for the past and up coming school year.
City and state-wide test preparation for 2nd grade and up.
Fun filled indoor and outdoor activities including but not limited to arts, music, computer, games, martial arts and sports.
Exciting field trip arranged for every other week.
In addition, each classroom in the Center is equipped with advanced security of surveillance and intercom system to ensure children's safety while parents are rest assured to have peace of mind. Based on the belief that children learn best through play, through discovery, through interaction and communication, our friendly yet professional staff strives to deliver high quality services in a trusty and safe environment.
Summer program tuition varies according to the duration of enrollments. Promotions are only available at certain locations. Please check your nearest learning center for detailed information.
We have NYS Child and Adults Care Food Program. All children will receive daily delivered fresh and nutrition breakfast, lunch and snack from NYS proofed school food vendor.
We accept ACD/ACS/HRA Voucher.
The school hour is: 8:00am – 6:30pm

2010 Happy Dragon Summer Program registrations are starting now. Early Bird discounts are available. Our Summer Program is designed to help children from Pre-K to 7th Grade succeed in the next school year, especially targeting the city and statewide tests. Stop by any of our locations for forms and more information about our Summer Program. Register before June 20th for a special discount.

Our free UPK program, funded by the New York City DOE is now accepting direct registrations at our centers for children born in the year of 2006. Registration is limited, and is based on a first come first serve basis..

HELP FOR TODDLERS FROM BIRTH TO 3
Happy Dragon Early Intervention Center(EIC), a provider approved by the NYS Department of Health (NYSDOH), NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene (NYCDOHMH), is pleased to provide the EI program which consists of comprehensive therapy and family support services to eligible infants and toddlers age 3 and younger with or at high risk for developmental delays or disabilities. Happy Dragon EIC strives to work with Families As Partners (FAP) to ensure that all evaluation arrangements, consultation, final generation of an Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) and/or other EI services provided will meet the individual child’s developmental needs in the least restrictive environment.
A unique challenge lies ahead for parents with a youngster suspected of having a disability or delay in child’s physical, cognitive, speech / language, emotional and/or adaptive development. EI services, funded and regulated by NYSDOH and NYCDOHMH, which aim to enable the family to help the child grow, learn, and develop, assist the family in building a strong support system, can be provided through Happy Dragon EIC to eligible child at NO COST to parents.
